Actress Jane Fonda, 72, intends to marry for the fourth time in 2011, after having survived breast cancer.
Earlier this month (November 10), she had surgery for breast cancer after doctors discovered a tumor during a routine consultation.
Now that she is healed, she intends to seal the romance with music producer Richard Perry who has sustained her during this traumatic experience.
The couple became engaged in 2009, but canceled the wedding plans earlier this year. She told Oprah Winfrey in October: “I’m not going to remarry.”
But Jane Fonda is so touched by the devotion of her fiancé, especially during her illness, that she is ready to walk down the aisle for the fourth time in 2011.
A source told The National Enquirer: “Richard has been a rock. He stuck by her side through the whole ordeal and promised to take care of her, no matter how serious the situation turned out to be. “Seeing Richard step up to the plate made Jane realise he is truly the man for her. The cancer changed Jane’s priorities. He’s the man of her dreams, and Jane wants to be with him for the rest of her life”.
Jane Fonda has been married three times: with French director Roger Vadim, former politician Tom Hayden and Ted Turner.
