Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck expecting their third child

The news has been officially confirmed by the couple’s rep.

A source told Us Weekly that the actress is very happy with her pregnancy: “She always wanted three children. It was his plan all along.”

The two stars, both 39, appear to be very involved in their role as parents. After the arrival of their second daughter Seraphina, Garner said that combining her acting career and her role as mother has given her a kind of “split personality.”

“[I] feel like half my brain is somewhere else all the time, but when the camera’s rolling, I pull it together and focus for two minutes,” she said at the time, “and then I kind of turn back to a ditz again.”

The pair welcomed Violet in December 2005 and Seraphina in January 2009.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been married for five years. The actor recently finished filming the new film Terrence Malick.
