Kate Winslet breaks up with model Louis Dowler
After a painful separation from her film director husband Sam Mendes, she found a taste for life in the muscular arms of Louis Dowler, a handsome 35-year-old English model.
But after six months of relationship, Kate Winslet has decided to end her romance with the model.
At 35, the charming actress has decided to focus on herself, her career and spend time with her children.
A friend of the star told MailOnline: “Louis was just the tonic Kate needed after her painful split from Sam and they had a wonderful time. However, they have realized their relationship isn’t working and Kate needs space to be on her own. ”
“She is very grateful to Louis for helping her pick her life back up after her marriage ended and they had a lot of fun together, but she felt it had come to an end and wants to concentrate on her career and children,” adds the same source.
Kate Winslet and Louis Dowler had met at a party hosted by mutual friends.
The actress has a 6-year-old son with Sam Mendes and a 10-year-old daughter from her previous marriage to director Jim Threapleton. She now plans to devote all her energy to them.
