Kate Winslet: “I like being on my own”

Kate Winslet makes a sassy cover for the April issue of British Vogue.

It’s been almost a year since Kate Winslet announced her divorce from Sam Mendes. She then briefly poured her grief in the arms of model Louis Dowler. She now comes back to this painful ordeal, which allowed her to settle things about herself.

Mother of two, the famous actress kept working during her divorce, and thus didn’t have the time to feel alone.

She confides in British Vogue magazine: “Experiencing those moments of being alone… is a very weird flooring and exposing position to be in when you’re just not used to it.”

But Kate turned her singleness into force and enjoyed her status as a single mom.

“But I’ve never been lonely,” the star says. “And with my kids…that remains the case. But to be in this place where I can say I really like this space. I really need to not have anyone around. It’s a surprise to discover that I like being on my own.”

Kate shows us all that it’s better to be alone than have a bad company.
