British actress Keira Knightley is rumored to play the lead role in “The Life of Diana, Princess of Wales”, a film inspired by the life of Princess Diana, informs dailymail.co.uk.

Producers of the Pathe company has already started work on this film project and intends to distribute Keira Knightley,25, in the role of Princess Diana and Helen Mirren, 65, as her mother, Frances Shand Kydd.
