Kelsey Grammer is married for the fourth time

The hero of the series Frasier and Cheers married yesterday at the Longacre Theater in New York City where he performed every night in the revival of La Cage aux Folles.

His wife Kayte Walsh, a former air hostess, is 26 years his junior. The ceremony continued in the ballroom of the Plaza Hotel, decorated for the occasion with dozens of bouquets of pink and white roses, lit by hundreds of candles.

“Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh were married today at a private ceremony for family and friends,” his rep said in a statement.

Some guests told reporters they had witnessed a true love match. “It was wonderful!” David Hyde Pierce said, while Alan Arkin added that the couple looked “very much in love.”
