Kelsey Grammer asks for custody of his son, not daughter

On Thursday Grammer’s ex-wife Camilla filed for sole custody of their two children.

Apparently the reason she did this is because Kelsey intended to take his son to live with him in Chicago and leave his 9-year-old daughter with his former wife in California.

A document dated April 29, sent from Kelsey’s lawyer to Camille’s attorney, reads:

“Kelsey proposes … Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason.”

In the documents filed by her, Camille states that her ex is trying “to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage” her.

“She will continue to fight aggressively to keep her kids,” a source close to Camille said.

Kelsey’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, said in a statement: “Despite the fact that those connected with Camille Grammer seem to be hand delivering confidential documents to TMZ and other media outlets, we will continue not to make public statements about their private matters which can and apparently does beg for misinterpretation. There is no valid reason to drag the Grammer children into any media spotlight.”
