Khristine Erosevich, Anna Nicole Smith’s Psychiatrist sentenced to prison

Anna Nicole Smith’s psychiatrist, Khristine Erosevich, was sentenced to prison for supplying drugs to an addicted person.

The actress died in 2007 from an overdose of drugs.

Khristine Erosevich, the actress’ friend and doctor, was sentenced by a court in Los Angeles, after a trial that lasted two months.

The actress’ lawyer and lover, Howard K. Stern, was also convicted for providing drugs that may be issued only on prescription to an addicted person,.

Psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich was found guilty of fraudulently obtaining drugs.

Stern was found not guilty on seven counts, but was convicted for complicity in the conspiracy.

Both were sentenced to prison, but the time limit will be determined on January 6, 2011.

A third defendant, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, was acquitted.

Lawyers of the three argued during the trial that all acted in the actress’ interest and in order to help someone suffering from pains and depression.
