Leonardo DiCaprio is afraid of marriage
Leonardo DiCaprio, who has a relationship with top model Bar Rafaeli, admits that he “doesn’t know” if he’ll ever get married, because he saw too many marriages around him breaking apart.
The actor – whose best friend Kate Winslet separated from her husband, director Sam Mendes, shortly after the three had worked on “Revolutionary Road” – admits seeing other people’s failed marriages has put him off tying the knot.
Leonardo – who has a relationship for several years with top Israeli model Bar Rafaeli – said: “I don’t know whether I’ll ever get married. I’ve seen too many supposedly happy marriages go down. I’ve been as shocked as anyone.
“No one can look at the marriages of other people and make a judgement. I don’t know the private lives o the actors I work with. I just know if they are good actors or good directors.”
He’s also unsure whether he would feel comfortable to shoot a love scene while his girlfriend. “It depends on the circumstances. “It all sounds very strange to people who’ve never been on a film set.
“There’s a group of people on one side of the camera and it’s all about lighting, angles, sound and getting your lines right,” said DiCaprio.
Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. Among his early films are “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” (1993), where he starred alongside Johnny Depp.
