Currently in rehab, the actress recently learned she would not play in Inferno, the movie in which she would have played Linda Lovelace, a p#!n actress from the 70s, nicknamed “Deep Throat.”
Why? The producers seem to have got tired of waiting. Matthew Wilder, director of Inferno, has explained to E! Online.
“We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard…We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support…Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her, and some other issues, have made it impossible for us to go forward.”
After flunking a drug test in September the 24-year-old actress enterd rehab (where she’s required to remain until Jan. 3). However, it was anticipated that filming would await the end of her rehab. The actress has thus lost the only project that she expected to start after her rehabilitation period was over.
