Lindsay Lohan doesn’t afford to pay private counseling

It keeps getting worse for Lindsay Lohan: on Thursday she had to appear in court again.

On Thursday, the actress participated in a routine hearing assessing the progress she made after being convicted of theft and DUI.

Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley reportedly said that Lohan couldn’t afford to pay for the psychological support required by the court due to “financial issues,” reports People.

Also, according to her attorney, group therapy is not feasible because Lindsay’s words would be immediately reported to the media.

However, these reasons didn’t impress Judge Stephanie Sautner too much.

“If she doesn’t have the means [to pay for it], she’s got to find someone to help her out,” the magistrate responded, giving the 25-year-old actress 21 days to enroll in therapy sessions.

Lohan has completed only 33 of the 480 hours of community that she must perform. She is supposed to complete 120 hours in a Los Angeles morgue and 360 hours at a women’s center in a poor neighborhood.

If she fails to fulfill her obligations by the end of the year, she could end up behind bars.

The actress will be on probation for the next three years and her next hearing is scheduled in October.
