Lindsay Lohan has revealed she felt “kind of numb” when she heard the news regarding her prison sentence last week.
The actress recorded an interview for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Lindsay is one of the latest additions to the show’s guest list and the interview that was recorded yesterday, will be broadcast in the U.S. tonight.
The 24-year-old star, who was clad in a black satin suit, reportedly received a standing ovation when she was introduced and spoke freely of her last appearance in court.
Lindsay was found guilty of probation violation, in addition to being sentenced to four months in prison by the Los Angeles Superior Court for stealing a 2,500 dollars necklace.
Lindsay admitted she was surprised by the verdict. The star reportedly revealed during the broadcast that she found the sentence “shocking” and said it left her feeling “kind of numb.”
Lindsay’s legal team appealed the sentence and Lindsay was released shortly after the announcement of the sentence on Friday.
However, the judge gave her 480 hours of community service and 120 hours working for the medical examiner of Los Angeles area, where her tasks will include waste collection, emptying the trash and washing the floors, windows and toilets.
During the interview, Lindsay also confirmed that she has accepted the role of John Gotti Jr.’s wife in the movie Gotti: Three Generations, alongside John Travolta.
