An employee at the Betty Ford Clinic claims she was assaulted by Lindsay Lohan on December 12. The actress sustains the contrary: that the woman hit first.
According to Palm Desert police department in California, Lohan is accused of assaulting an employee after the latter had asked the star to undergo testing for drugs and alcohol.
Officers arrived at the star’s current residence, a center affiliated to the Betty Ford Clinic, on December 12 at 1:03 am. Nobody was arrested at the scene as the incident was not attended by police.
According to TMZ, the altercation occurred after Lohan and her roommates went out to a bar. The actress returned at BFC roughly ten minutes after her curfew.
Sources close to the fallen young star told the gossip site that the employee “put her hands on Lindsay” in a verbal confrontation. The actress then reportedly responded by pushing the woman.
Lindsay says she told the woman, “Take your hands off of me” and then “pushed back.”
Lohan believes that this employee had taken a dislike in her and wanted to take it before the end of her stay in rehab. The young woman should be discharged from the clinic in two weeks, on Jan. 3.
This new misfortune could be costly for Lohan. It could end up behind bars for a period of six months, according to TMZ. Following her arrest for drunken driving in 2007, she is still on probation and mustn’t violate the law. If judge Elden Fox believes that Lohan has violated the conditions of her release, he could have her return to jail.
