Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael behind bars
Lindsay Lohan’s father has been arrested under allegations that he held his girlfriend against her will and prevented her from calling 911, authorities in Los Angeles said Tuesday.
Investigators said that officers had visited Michael Lohan’s apartment Monday night.
“Mr. Lohan was arrested after we received a call around 9 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute,” Lt. Ratto said. “He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station. He showed no signs of intoxication that I’m aware of and has been cooperative.”
A press release states that the 51-year-old man was arrested for false imprisonment, infliction of injury and obstructing report of the incident. The bail was set at $ 200 000.
Authorities said the woman refused to seek treatment for minor injuries, but that Michael Lohan was taken to hospital for treatment unrelated to his arrest.
Michael Lohan was arrested on several occasions in New York under the allegations of harassment of his ex-girlfriends.
The Mean Girls star, Lindsay Lohan, is estranged from her father.
