Mark Wahlberg got his own star on the Walk Of Fame boulevard

Actor Mark Wahlberg, hero of many action movies such as “The Departed” or “Max Payne” has received a star on the famous boulevard “Walk of Fame” in Hollywood.

“I thought until the last minute it’s a joke,” said the star to journalists, testifying why he didn’t prepared any speech.

Mark Wahlberg, 47, became famous after debuted as a rapper in the early ’90s under the pseudonym of Marky Mark.

After several years of obscurity he became the image of Calvin Klein products and afterwards he created an enviable name in Hollywood.

In 2007 he was nominated for the secondary role in the film “The Departed” by Martin Scorsese. He is also a devout Catholic, being married to his adolescence girlfriend, which he has four children.
