Mel Gibson’s ex Oksana Grigorieva drops her complaint for domestic violence
Oksana Grigorieva, Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend, has dropped the lawsuit against the actor for domestic violence.
In a surprising announcement, Oksana Grigorieva’s lawyer told Judge Scott Gordon that her client was dropping the charges against her former lover, Mel Gibson, and father of her 18-month-old daughter, Lucia, reports TMZ.
Grigorieva’s charges were related to an argument the couple had when they were together in January 2010.
A source revealed that Mel Gibson’s lawyer, Stephen Kolodner, and the judge seemed surprised by this announcement.
Gibson and Grigorieva have been fighting for the custody of their daughter Lucia since their separation in April 2010.
A restraining order, preventing Gibson to approach his ex or contact her, was also canceled as Grigorieva wants be able to communicate directly with the actor.
Mel Gibson hasn’t offered any comments about Oksana’s surprising decision.
