Mel Gibson is seeking sole custody
According to TMZ, Mel Gibson’s lawyers are to appear in court on Monday and ask the judge to give the actor the sole custody of daughter Lucia, claiming Oksana Grigorieva is not acting in the best interests of the child.
In addition to taking the custody, Mel’s lawyers will ask Judge Scott Gordon to give her the right to visitation, but only with a monitor, and deny her any overnight visits with the baby.
The lawyers insist that the Russian singer is only interested in damaging Mel’s reputation and that she’s not acting in the best interests of the child by making false and derogatory statements to the media about him.
Judge Gordon had previously warned the Russian not to discuss the case with the press or risk losing custody of the tot.
