Miley Cyrus and Charlie Sheen exchange compliments on Twitter

Miley Cyrus and Charlie Sheen have been exchanging flattering comments on Twitter since the 18-year-old Disney star has recently rejoined the network.

Just last week, in an interview for the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Miley said, “I do not tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it. I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical.”

Yet last Sunday, 17 months after deserting the microblogging site, Miley Cyrus surprised her fans by storming the Twitter page dedicated to her next world tour, Gypsy Heart.

“I’m not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning,” she wrote on her page @ gypsyhearttour, on April 3.

Charlie Sheen answered his famous admirer Monday night by posting on his page: “Dear Miley, Welcome back to Twitter! Always felt you were epic! Now you proved it! Thanks for the love.”

“I always felt the same about you! You have taught me everything I know about WINNING. Duh!” the 18-year-old then wrote in reference to the phrase often used by Sheen since he was fired from the show Two and a Half Men.

Later in the evening, Cyrus told fans she was “Makin dinner for my fam right now. Honey sesame chicken, garlic rice & salad. There’s only one thing missing & that’s Charlie Sheen!”

Nearly two years after her last tour, Wonder World, which stopped in 45 U.S. cities, Miley Cyrus will kick off her new series of shows on April 29, in Quito, Ecuador, in a stadium welcoming more than 40,000 people.

The star of the Hannah Montana franchise will then travel to Lima, Peru, before performing in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne and Sydney. No date has yet been announced for North America.
