Is supermodel Lydia Hearst, 26, on the verge of seeing her dream come true?
If magazine covers, fashion shows and her collaboration with Playboy have assured her a certain notoriety, the young woman has been long dreaming of becoming an actress. Last year, she made her debut in an episode of “Gossip Girl”.
The New York Post reports that Lydia Hearst has just landed her first major role on the big screen. She will take the lead role in “Dogs in Pocketbooks”, a comedy inspired by Lindsay Lohan’s endless troubles.
Screenwriter Charles Castillo said: “Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, stalkers and crazed media – a role obviously based on Lindsay,” according to New York Post.
Lindsay Lohan is currently in treatment by court order.
With her family environment, Lydia Hearst shouldn’t find it hard to achieve inspiration for this role. She is the granddaughter of billionaire William Randolph Hearst who inspired Orson Welles into creating Citizen Kane’s face.
Shooting for “Dogs in Pocketbooks” should begin next February in Los Angeles with Joan Collins in the role of the star’s Hollywood agent.
