Natalie Portman and French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied got engaged and they’re expecting their first child, their reps told People magazine.
The actress, 29, met Millepied, 33, on the set of “Black Swan”, the latest film by Darren Aronofsky, a psychological thriller that takes place behind the scenes of the New York City Ballet.
Natalie Portman plays an unstable and paranoid dancer – a performance that earned her nominations for a Golden Globe nomination and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Benjamin Millepied, dancer at the New York City Ballet and famous choreographer, was responsible for all the choreography in the film.
No wedding date has been communicated.
Natalie Portman, a major Hollywood figure since her debut in “Leon” by Luc Besson, has starred in recent episodes of “Star Wars” and in “Everybody says I love you”, “Closer”, “The Darjeeling Limited” and “Brother “.
She will next be seen in “No Strings Attached” alongside Ashton Kutcher.
