The investigation into allegations that Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, tried to extort millions from the actor during their child custody battle is now in the hands of the Los Angeles District Attorney.

These are the same prosecutors that investigated the violence charges against Gibson claiming he attacked Grigorieva a year ago.

Gibson claims Oksana secretly recorded a series of phone calls in which he uses vulgar and racist language in order to extort money in exchange for keeping the phone calls private.

The D.A. will decide if Oksana Grigorieva will be charged with a crime.
