Orlando Bloom and wife Miranda Kerr are proud parents of a baby boy
Model Miranda Kerr, wife of actor Orlando Bloom, has given birth to a baby boy on Thursday in Los Angeles, reports X17.
“We did get a text on Boxing Day saying she had gone into labor but it was false alarm. But I can confirm she did go into labor early this morning. I have been trying to get in touch with (Kerr’s parents) but everyone’s phones are going to message bank,” a member of Kerr’s family told Australia’s Daily Telegraph today.
The couple married in secret in July 2010 after nearly three years of dating.
In September, the young woman told the Spanish edition of Vogue magazine that she was four months pregnant.
In another interview, she also revealed she didn’t intend to retire as a model after the birth of her baby. For her, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, who continue careers after having children, are good examples.
As for starting a family, Kerr said she has always wished for it.
“For me, family is life,” she told W magazine. “The decision to start one wasn’t complex at all … My career has been wonderful, but it’s not my life. I don’t feel pressure to get back to work.”
