According to TMZ, the Palm Desert Police Department was aiming to get Lindsay Lohan arrested after her altercation with a Betty Ford Center staffer.
On December 12, a police lieutenant notified L.A. County Deputy Probation Officer Barbara Parker after Lohan’s altercation with Dawn Holland, asking her to arrest Lindsay for violating her probation.
When Parker said it would be premature for such a drastic action, the lieutenant began arguing with her and it got “extremely heated.”
The lieutenant’s boss called Parker to apologize after the call.
As we have previously reported, the police says Lindsay violated her probation by committing battery and because of this the star could be jailed.
However, their intent on getting Lindsay is strange, especially as the L.A. County Probation Department and a Beverly Hills judge are the ones to determine if Lindsay violated probation and since Dawn Holland refused to cooperate with any attempt to prosecute the star.
The L.A. County Probation Department will not act against Lindsay unless she’s convicted of battery in Riverside County.
