Few couples in Hollywood last. The proof: even those that seem particularly strong eventually crack. The fault is often to be found on film sets.

Like Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie after meeting her on “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, actress Rachel Weisz has decided to separate from her husband, director Darren Aronofsky, after nine years of marriage and a baby boy. The person responsible for this sentimental failure? A Bond, James Bond.

Rachel Weisz had in fact succumbed to the charms of the seductive British Daniel Craig on the set of “Dream House” last February. Both actors have spent so much time together, which proved to be a fatal blow to the marriage to Rachel’s marriage.

The pair’s rep tells TMZ: “Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC.”

Weisz won an Oscar for her performance in ‘The Constant Gardener’ in 2005 and has starred in ‘The Mummy,’ ‘About a Boy’ and ‘The Fountain.’ Aronofsky is the acclaimed director of ‘The Wrestler,’ ‘Requiem for a Dream’ and the upcoming (and much buzzed about) Natalie Portman vehicle ‘Black Swan.’
