Randy Quaid to open Charlie Sheen show?

Randy Quaid is reportedly in talks with Charlie Sheen show organizers to appear on the actor’s “Torpedo Of Truth” tour.

The Canadian newspaper Globe and Mail reported on Monday that Quaid wants to open for Sheen’s “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option Show” tour during a stop in Quaid’s current hometown, Vancouver.

“It’s apropos to his situation, and apropos to my situation,” Randy said.

Quaid suggested that he could perform the two songs he debuted at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom last month, namely “Will We Be Together Then,” followed by “Star Whackers.”

And Randy says Sheen would join him on backing vocals: “That’d be great: Have Charlie come out [and sing], ‘I’m talking about Whackers!’”

According to The Globe and Mail, Quaid’s record label is trying to make this happen.

However, Sheen’s reps told GossipCop that the actor is “not planning on adding Randy to the show or any opening act.”

Quaid and Sheen stared in three films together, including Major League II (1994), No Man’s Land (1987) and the 1986 action horror thriller The Wraith.
