Reese Witherspoon became Mrs. Toth over the weekend

Reese Witherspoon is a happy woman. At 35, she married her second husband Jim Toth, 40, with whom she has been engaged since December 2010.

The actress met Jim Toth, agent for the famous Creative Artists Agency (CAA) – one of the most powerful agencies in Hollywood representing stars – in January 2010.

Before meeting Jim Toth, Reese Witherspoon had a long and complicated history with the young heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal. They ended up splitting after a 2-year relationship.

From June 1999 to October 2007, she was married to actor Ryan Phillippe, whom she met on the day of her 21st birthday party. The former couple had two children, Ava Elizabeth, 11, and Deacon Reese, 8.

Reese and Ryan’s children were also present at her wedding which took place at her home in Ojai, California.

For the occasion, lamps were hung on trees and candles shone on all sides. A cocktail hour preceded the 20-minute ceremony, which began a little late. Reese walked down the aisle in a custom designed gown by Monique Lhuillier, to the tune of Here Comes the Bride. 80 white doves were released after the famous “yes” was pronounced.

Roselfeld Heather, her best friend, was maid of honor.

Among the guests there were 120 friends and family members of the couple, and celebrities like Renee Zellweger, freshly separated from Bradley Cooper and accompanied by her publicist, who also represents the bride, Matthew McConaughey, Salma Hayek, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and Alyssa Milano.

“He’s a family-oriented guy, and that’s all she ever really wanted,” a source told People about Reese’s new husband around the time of their engagement.

Also, according to an insider, Reese was “very giddy” and “excited to see what the future holds.”

Witherspoon won the Oscar for best actress in 2006 for “Walk the Line” by James Mangold. In this biography of singer Johnny Cash, she played June Carter, singer and wife of the artist.
