Salma Hayek’s husband revealed as father to Linda Evangelista’s son

The Manhattan magistrate’s court action confirms that Francois-Henri Pinault is the father of Evangelista’s 4-year-old son.

The supermodel gave birth to Augustin James in October 2006 and said in interviews that the father was “a New York architect.”

At the time, Evangelista’s rep at the DNA Model Management, Didier Fernandez, denied the rumors, saying, “Not true. [Evangelista] has never said who the father is.”

Salma Hayek and Pinault married in 2009 after she gave birth to their daughter Valentina in September 2007.

The media speculates that Evangelista and Pinault conceived their son in 2006, when the businessman and Hayek were separated.

Pinault wasn’t present in court. His lawyer, David Aronson said, “We had understood that it was to be a brief, telephone conference, to bring Magistrate Troy up to date on what the status was.”
