Perhaps the actress was tired of hearing the media talk about her hacked phone photos and managed to divert attention to her supposed new love interest.
Scarlett, 26, enjoyed what looked like a romantic getaway in Paris with rumored boyfriend Kieran Culkin, 28.
After a visit to the Moulin Rouge, the couple had dinner at Pizza Pino on the Champs Elysees on September 13.
The following day the two were spotted at the airport, catching a flight back to the U.S.
According to People, they are no strangers to each other, having attended the same high school, the Professional Children’s School in Manhattan.
Recent reports also talked about a possible romance between Johansson and her co-star in He’s Just Not That Into You.
