Steven Spielberg requested the sacking of Megan Fox from the Transformers franchise, after the actress said that director Michael Bay behaved like Hitler on the set.

Spielberg, who is a Jew, said he was shocked when Megan Fox said in an interview that director Michael Bay, the producer of the Transformers film franchise, behaves like Adolf Hitler on the set.

Very shortly after this statement, the 25-year-old actress was fired from the third film of the franchise and replaced by British model Rosie Huntingdon-Whitley.

Megan Fox said afterward that it was her decision to leave Transformers: Dark of the Moon because she wanted to pursue a different direction in her acting career.

But shortly before the premiere on July 4 of this film, director Michael Bay revealed for the first time that someone asked him to fire Megan Fox.

“You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now,” Bay said.

Steven Spielberg is executive producer of the film and the male lead role is played by Shia LaBeouf.

Megan Fox starred in the first two films of the franchise and these roles helped her become famous worldwide. She was cast in the third film of the series, but shortly before the shooting, gave that controversial interview to British newspaper Wonderland.
