The confessions of Courteney Cox about David Arquette

The new members, namely Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Anthony Anderson and Adam Brody, rubbed shoulders with veterans Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

All attention was given to the newly separated couple. The rule was clear: no question could be asked about their private lives. Both actors were there to talk about the film. Seated next to each other at the press conference, their complicity was evident. Courteney listened with attention and a smile full of sweetness to the one she married on June 12, 1999 about his experience at the shooting. And in spite of the rules, they let slip a few details about their personal lives.

“There’s a real family feeling,” Arquette explained. “Especially with Courteney being married and having a kid, it just brings an honesty, and that is really my favourite part of acting.”

Courteney agrees: “It felt very natural. We have had ten more years of experience of acting, so I was that much more confident. I am now a mum, and I am just a different person, but it’s coming back with your family. You know each other, and you kind of just get right back into it and [are] better than you were last time.”

At the same press event, Cox talked about how proud she was of Arquette’s progress since leaving rehab in January.

“Oh my God, I’m so proud of him!” she told Extra. “Best he’s ever looked! He’s so cute that I’m like, dude, I don’t understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?”

The Cougar Town actress also said she believes the hardships they faced lately helped consolidate their relationship: “Our communication and the way we are, just learning about each other in a different way, it’s smart,” she continued. “It’s weird to be at this age and look at ourselves but it’s hard and it’s important and I’m glad we are, so I love him.”
