The View co-host Sherri Shepherd tied the knot with Lamar Sally

Sherri wasn’t the only one getting married this week after her co-host Joy Behar wed longtime partner Steve Janowitz on Thursday.

The ceremony took place at the Fairmont Hotel in Shepherd’s hometown.

Sherri had eight bridesmaids, including The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, actress Niecy Nash, Community’s Yvette Nicole Brown and her 6-year-old son Jeffrey. They all walked her down the aisle.

On the day before her wedding, Sherri took to Twitter to express her excitement: “Just had the most amazing bachelorette party with my bridesmaids. Much food, laughter and love in this room. Can’t wait to open my gifts!”

She later added, “Going to bed now. Sal is in his suite. My last day as a single woman. Thank you Jesus for being in the midst of all this. Gotta get sleep!”

She even took her time to share a tweet right before walking down the aisle, on Saturday afternoon: “Sitting in the room in my gown waiting for Sal& groomsmen to take their pics… can’t let him see me b4 the wedding… but I’m bored as heck.”

“This man not only loves me, but he adores my son,” Shepherd said about Lamar on The View in January. “And my son adores him.”

Shepherd’s efforts to get in shape before her big day will air as a special on the Style network on Sept 13.
