Tina Fey announce pregnancy on Oprah: It’s really happening
Tina Fey appeared on Oprah where she announced her pregnancy and talked about her new book, Bossypants.
“You look great,” Winfrey asked Fey at the beginning of the show, “Did I notice … ?”
“It’s really happening,” Fey replied with her hands on her baby bump.
Fey talked about her daughter Alice, 5, being overexcited about being a big sister.
“She is psyched,” Fey said.
As the host brought up her book Bossypants in which Fey recalls her dilemma over having another child or not, she explained:
“You get to 40 and you think well, do I really want to do it or is it because I’m running out of time. And also because I thought 30 Rock would be cancelled by now and I’d have time to do this.”
“My husband and I really decided that we felt rather than risk having the show end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritize our family,” Fey said.
