Tina Fey welcomes baby girl Penelope Athena

Tina Fey and her husband, composer Jeffrey Richmond, welcomed their second daughter in their family.

Her rep told People magazine that Penelope Athena was born Wednesday. The couple has a 5-year-old daughter named Alice.

During her pregnancy, the 41-year-old actress said she would rather not know the baby’s gender.

“I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in April.

Filming for the sixth season of 30 Rock has been postponed until January for the star to look after her little girl.

Tina Fey said she wants to enjoy the time they can spend with her family.

“My husband and I really decided that we felt rather than risk having 30 Rock end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritize our family,” she confessed to Oprah in spring.

Tina revealed to the talk show host that she was terrified of getting pregnant after 40. She has also written a book to exorcise the anguish about having a baby at that age, as well as her concerns about her career.
