Transformers 3 crushes everything at the global box office

The third film in the Transformers series smashed records, reporting $ 210 million.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon, starring Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel, remains the second biggest international release of 2011, after pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Michael Bay’s film tops the box office from 57 countries, representing 70% of ticket sales in cinemas.

The third installment of the science fiction saga reported 97.4 million dollars in revenue in its first weekend, thus achieving the best start for a weekend of the Independence Day after Spider-Man 2 garnered 88.2 million in 2004.
