“Two and a Half Men” creator blasts Charlie Sheen

The creator of the sitcom “Two and a Half Men” poked fun at the troubled star by posting a short message at the end of Monday night’s episode.

During the credits of Monday’s episode, a 2-second message ran on the screen. Here is the text in its entirety.

Sheen was actually amused by the message. “Charlie heard about it this morning and thought it was funny. The direct quote was: ‘That’s great. There’s not a chance he outlives me,’” the actor’s manager Mark Burg said Tuesday.

Burg also denied allegations that there is some sort of tension between the two: “Charlie is doing his thing, and Chuck is doing his. Let’s not forget ‘Two and a Half Men’ is a sitcom. These are comedians.”

It’s not the first time Lorre uses the ending credits to give his opinion on Sheen’s actions.

A similar message ran earlier this year and read: “Do not attempt to replicate what you saw in tonight’s episode of Two and a Half Men … Please keep in mind that we employ a highly-paid Hollywood professional who has years of experience with putting his life at risk. And sadly no, I’m not talking about our stunt man.”
