TMZ reports it was Lindsay Lohan who decided to leave the cast of the “Inferno” flick, and not the producers.

Rumors that appeared today saying Lohan was dismissed from “Inferno” are denied now by sources close to the actress, announcing it was her decision to leave in order to focus more on her recovery.

The same sources claim she and director Matthew Wilder remain on good terms and look forward to a future collaboration.
