According to her rep, U.S. actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, on November 12.
After complaining about pain and swelling in one of her legs, the 93-year-old actress was first examined at home and the doctor discovered a “massive blood clot” in her leg. He immediately called 911 after expressing concern that the clot could make its way towards Zsa Zsa’s heart.
This is a new health problem for the actress who has been partially paralyzed after a car accident suffered in 2005. In July 2010, she suffered a fall from bed and broke her hip. Having had a hip replacement, she had to be re-hospitalized for complications.
However, she refused to undergo new operations and preferred to return to her home in Bel Air and receive the last rites. Found unconscious by her husband in late August, she had to undergo treatment but her condition was then stabilized.
Zsa Zsa Gabor is a former Miss Hungary and a colorful character is married to Prince Frederic von Anhalt, 65, her ninth husband.
