Aliens would destroy humanity to protect other civilizations, scientists claim

Scientists claim that if the greenhouse gases might prompt aliens to attack humans. They argue that in case these creatures are monitoring us, they would see the destructive effect human actions can have on the surrounding environment.

In order to avoid the greater dangers that humans can expose nature to, aliens may decide to attack the population on the Earth.

This speculative scenario was made by scientists affiliated with NASA researchers at the Pennsylvania State University . They believe that at some point, humans and alien life might make contact.

The theory appeared in the report “Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis” in which aliens are divided into three categories: beneficial, neutral and harmful.

Beneficial interactions could refer to a simple detection of extraterrestrial intelligence (ET), humanity emerging triumphant in an alien attack, or being saved by an alien species.

Neutral encounters refer to the idea that aliens would be too different from us and communication with them wouldn’t be productive.

The worst scenario would be that aliens could harm us. Whether they would eat, enslave or attack us, scientists claim that these creatures could pose danger to us in case they would perform a catastrophic physics experiment that renders a portion of the galaxy uninhabitable.

To maintain the survival of humanity, researchers urge for caution when it comes to sending messages into space, and in particular warn us not to send information about our biological structure.
