According to the French site Voici, Bruni went on a shopping spree at Nataly’s, a children clothing store in Paris. The site writes that Carla particularly liked a simple barred bed for babies.

In recent weeks, Carla’s delivery has been eagerly awaited, with journalists camping in the surroundings of La Muette, the clinic where she is expected to give birth.

Several rumors have circulated recently, claiming the French first lady has secretly given birth but recent photos showing a pregnant Bruni talking on the phone outside her home put a stop to the speculation.
