Here is something unexpected: James Franco posed for the new issue of Candy in drag, revealing a feminine version.

It seems the cover was shot by famous Terry Richardson and reveals to the readers a James Franco wearing eye shadow, lipstick, feminine haircut and jewelry.

According to Candy website, they wanted to be knows as “the first transversal style magazine ever completely dedicated to celebrating transvestism, transexuality, cross dressing and androgyny, in all its manifestations.”

Seeing this statement, people might think Franco is gay but according to his recent statement for Advocate magazine he is not. He’s just acting.

The actor said: “I’m going to do projects that I want to do. Everyone thinks I’m a stoner, and some people think I’m gay because I’ve played these gay roles. That’s what people think, but it’s not true. I don’t smoke pot. I’m not gay. But on another level, there’s something in me that is able to play roles like that in a way that’s convincing.”
