Even though she declined to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine, the Duchess of Cambridge has nonetheless agreed to lend her image to a magazine aimed at the scouting movement.

To mark her cooperation with the scouts, Prince William’s wife decided to lend her image by posing on the cover of the magazine for its February / March issue.

The photo is not an official one, as it was taken shortly before her wedding, but Kate approved of it being used for the magazine’s cover.

“Part of her role as a volunteer is to help out below the radar,” a source told people of Kate’s work with the organization.

Chief Scout Bear Grylls reacted to the news that Kate would be offering her support.

“The Duchess has an incredibly busy life, which makes it all the more inspiring that she has chosen to volunteer alongside us,” he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.

“Over the last few years it has been our mission to make it easier for adults who volunteer with us to give as much or as little as they are able – it is how we change our society: many people doing a little bit.”

The Duchess is also expected to take part in various activities organized by the youth organization in their region.

The Scout Association is one of five charities that Kate has decided to patronize as a member of the British royal family.
