Kim Kardashian’s new song “Jam” debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Wednesday morning.
In the interview, Kim said she was nervous to have the whole world listen to her collaboration with producer The-Dream.
“I think it’s only normal for me to be nervous,” she said. ‘I’m human. I’ve never sang before. This was definitely something that I don’t do, so for me to step outside of my comfort zone and do this and to world premiere it on KIIS-FM with Ellen and Ryan Seacrest … This is a really big deal.”
The song is basically a club hit about going out dancing the night away with friends.
Kim sings “They playing my jam” over and over throughout the chorus.
Kim said a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“This was just a fun new experience! I am so glad I went for it! And the proceeds to JAM are being donated to St. Judes Children’s hospital,” she tweeted.
“[The-Dream and I] just had a good time, and the proceeds are going to a cancer organization [because we both] lost a parent to cancer,” she said. “So it’s just fun.”
