Reality star Kim Kardashian and basketball player Kris Humphries married Saturday in a private ceremony in Montecito, California.
“We are officially married!” Kim wrote on her Celebuzz site after Saturday night’s ceremony.
With Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian , Kylie and Kendal Jenner and Kris’ sister, Kaela Humphries as bridesmaids, the ceremony took place in the presence of 450 guests, including Demi Lovato, Mario Lopez, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, Venus and Serena Williams, Nicole Richie, Eva Longoria and boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, Kathie Lee Gifford, Avril Lavigne and boyfriend Brody Jenner and Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan.
The ceremony was set to begin at 6 pm, but didn’t start until half an hour later.
Despite Kourtney Kardashian’s announcement that the bridesmaids would wear green, the girls donned ivory dresses, sparking rumors that the Kardashians are imitating Kate Middleton who did the same with her bridal party.
Dressed in a Vera Wang gown, Kim walked down the aisle at the arm of her stepfather Bruce Jenner.
The bride also paid tribute to her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, through a message in a printed program handed to guests: “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.”
Ryan Seacrest, who attended the event, Tweeted his impressions: “Beautiful..kim looked regal, a perfect night. I just danced with the whole family.”
Basketball player Carmelo Anthony and Humphries’ teammates were also present at the ceremony.
“Butterflies in my stomach for @KimKardashian & @Krishumphries…beyond excited for today! the Anthonys are on our way! Love is in the Air!” Anthony Tweeted.
