Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries argue over having children

During the third episode of this season’s “Kourtney and Kim take New York” Kim and Kris talked about starting a family together.

Although at first they appear to see eye to eye, Kim starts to have reservations, especially when it came to where they would raise their kids, with Kris pushing for Minnesota.

“How am I going to have my career and live in Minnesota?” Kim asked.

“I want my kids to grow up with my sisters’ kids,” the reality star told Humphries. “They could spend a month in the summer in Minnesota. I’m not moving to Minnesota.”

“By the time you have kids and they’re in school, no one will probably care about you, let’s be honest,” Kris replied.

Kim eventually decided to stay on birth control, but had to think of a way to break the news to her then husband.

“I really don’t know how I’m going to tell Kris because I think it will hurt his feelings,” she said. “I just don’t want to start bringing kids into the mix right now.”

Not long after the season of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” ended, Kim filed for divorce from Kris, citing irreconcilable differences. Humphries has since sought an annulment on the grounds of “fraud.”

Last week, in an interview on on Good Morning America, Kris tried to stay away from Kim Kardashian questions as much as he could, saying he’s mostly focused on moving on and avoids the gossip.
