Man builds complex construction out of 100,000 toothpicks in 35 years- VIDEO

Scott Weaver, a San Francisco native is known for sculptures of 60 to 120 cm, made of toothpicks.

He began building impressive statues in 1968 at the age of 8 and has since continued to follow his passion.

In 1974 he began building the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street, both sculptures having an interior surface specially arranged for ping-pong balls to go through different routes.

Made of over 100,000 toothpicks, the sculpture was completed after 35 years, and was presented to the public in 2009.

Scott Weaver wants to go further in terms of his passion and continue to build other statues in the coming years.
