Featured on the cover of the latest issue of InStyle, shares her feelings about childbirth and her new status as a mother.

The Victoria’s Secret supermodel admits that the delivery was painful: “I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body,” she says.

“I was looking down on myself, the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, ‘How do women do this?’”

However, she managed to overcome her fear: “But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.”

And while childbirth and the physical changes that come with it might be a burden for a topmodel, Miranda is unaffected by it: “I can live with a body shaped somewhat less if my son is healthy. It’s worth it.”

“Flynn is a big baby. . .and I thought to myself, ‘I have so much more that I want to do aside from modeling,” she continues. “I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it.’”

In an interview with Japan’s Love Celeb, she confesses on the joys of motherhood: “Flynn’s birth is the best thing that has happened to me. He is the light that illuminates my life,” adding, “of course, Orlando is also the light. I love both of them very much.”
