The 1959 Playboy Playmate Yvette Vickers whose decomposed body was found in her home last month, died of a heart disease.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office determined the cause of death this week as heart disease.
Vickers, 82, was found by a neighbor in her house on April 27 and authorities estimated that her remains could have been there from a few months to a year.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says he didn’t know when exactly Vickers died.
Vickers was found April 27 by a neighbor in a dilapidated hillside home overlooking Beverly Hills.
Vickers was suffering from a number of health issues in recent years: overweight, drinking problems and severe paranoia, according to friends and neighbors.
Winter said Vickers has a brother who was notified about her death.
