During an interview with ABC news anchor Dan Harris, Paris Hilton walked out when the reporter suggested her moment of glory has passed.
After a few minutes of conversation on Wednesday’s edition of Good Morning America, the interviewer addressed a sore subject: the low ratings of her latest reality show The World According to Paris.
The surprise came a few seconds later when Harris asked Hilton: “Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?” The reporter referred in particular to the new wave of socialites, such as Kim Kardashian.
Hilton paused and instead looked at her publicist.
“You want to wrap up?” the interviewer asked. She got up and left the room.
Paris then went away to regain her composure but she eventually responded to Harris’ question.
“I’ve been in this business for 15 years now, so it’s been a very long time,” she said. “Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.”
During the interview, she also admitted that her child’s voice was due to a “character” she invented for her previous reality show The Simple Life. In real life, her tone is much more serious.
