Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently enjoying their honeymoon but talk about a royal wedding is not over yet. This time, it’s Prince Harry and his on-again-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy who are in the news.
According to media reports, the 26-year-old prince wants to leave his wild ways behind him and many speculate that he’s planning to walk down the aisle.
“Harry told Chelsy he’s ready to settle down for good with her and make things official,” a source tells Life & Style. “Harry has been accused of cheating on her in the past [which he's denied], and her friends at the time told her to ditch him because he was bad news. But now it’s the opposite.”
Prince Harry and Chelsy met in 2004 in Chelsy’s native South Africa. But in January 2009 the couple decided to take a break mainly because of Harry’s hard partying and cheating rumors.
“Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen a massive shift in Harry’s character,” Katie Nicholl, author of The Making of a Royal Romance, told Life & Style. “He’s settled down a lot more — he’s not falling out of nightclubs. He takes his military career incredibly seriously and has changed his lifestyle.”
However, don’t expect another “wedding of the century”: since he’s not an heir to the throne, Harry will keep things in a low-key as he’s not supposed to have a ceremony at the scale his brother had.
“As the spare heir, Harry wouldn’t be under the same pressure as his brother to have a big public wedding,” Nicholl said.
