William and Kate: new pregnancy rumors

The Duchess of Cambridge has sparked speculation again by holding her clutch in front of her stomach.

Speculation is rife in the media that William and Kate could soon make the announcement of a happy event.

Prince William and Kate Middleton marked their first an official double date with Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles. On Tuesday the two couples attended singer Gary Barlow’s concert in aid of The Prince’s Trust and The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry at London ‘s Royal Albert Hall.

The Duchess looked sensational in a $99 lace tulip dress by Zara along with black tights, suede pumps and a blazer by Ralph Lauren.

But it was something else that caught everyone’s eye more than her sense of fashion. The 29-year-old brunette held a black clutch in front of her stomach all the time, leaving many in wonder whether she was trying to hide something.

Rumors of a pregnancy had been ignited earlier. During the couple’s recent visit to a Denmark UNICEF distribution center Kate’s polite refusal to taste peanut paste alerted the media, as it is known that pregnant women are advised to stay away from peanut products to prevent allergies.

The palace didn’t explicitly deny the allegations, simply stating that Middleton is not allergic to peanuts.

When in November In Touch magazine cited a “palace insider” in claiming that Kate was six weeks pregnant, the reaction from the palace was more direct.

“We would be the ones to make the announcement, not Hollywood,” the couple’s spokesman told ABC News then. “This is all complete speculation.”
